Last Day to Order Free COVID Tests is June 15

UPDATE: All free COVID-19 tests from Project Act have been claimed

SANTA FE – Project Act received an overwhelming response to the news that the last day to order COVID-19 tests would be June 15. As a result, all the tests that they had in stock have already been claimed. 
 
Project Act was a project of the Rockefeller Foundation that provided free at-home COVID-19 test throughout the pandemic. 
 
Since the end of the national Public Health Emergency on May 11, most insured people still have coverage for COVID-19 tests ordered or administered by a health professional, however these tests may no longer be free.

June 15 is the last day New Mexicans can order free at-home COVID-19 tests through Project Act 

SANTA FE – The Rockefeller Foundation’s Project Act, which provides free at-home COVID-19 tests, will conclude at the end of June. The last day for household orders will be June 15, and all tests ordered by that date will be delivered by the end of the month. 

There are still tests available and interested New Mexicans are encouraged to place an order before June 15, through the Project Act website.  

Since the end of the national Public Health Emergency on May 11, most insured people still have coverage for COVID-19 tests ordered or administered by a health professional, however these tests may no longer be free.
