COVID-19 Vaccine Registration

The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) is leading the State of New Mexico’s COVID-19 Vaccination Preparedness Planning in close collaboration with other state agencies, as well as public, private and tribal partners throughout the state. Following federal guidelines, vaccine will be prioritized for frontline health care workers in hospital settings.The state will then provide vaccine to other frontline healthcare workers and first responders, as well as staff and residents of nursing homes and other long-term care facilities. Please use NMDOH's COVID-19 Vaccination Registration System to pre-register for your vaccine. When vaccine is available, NMDOH will send you a notification to schedule your appointment.

Congress has finally arrived at a new $900 billion COVID-19 relief bill. The bill includes several items that will be helpful for many people with disabilities. With this bill, one-time stimulus checks would be available to adults for up to $600 each, plus $600 for each child under 17.

COVID-19 Accessible Materials Microsite

The Georgia Tech Center for Inclusive Design and Innovation (CIDI), with funding from the CDC Foundation and technical assistance from CDC is adapting COVID-19 materials into accessible formats for people with disabilities. The project has created a microsite to house all of the materials which has now gone live. On the microsite, you can request embossed braille, download accessible Word Documents and PDFs, and register for upcoming webinars related to COVID-19 and people with disabilities.
